We post several subjects that you might be interested in because of the use of the democrats and republicans parties controlling the voting rights, with only 15 percent of their party controlling who could Vote in the Primary. Most of the voters did not even know who the candidates were, and did not even know where they were located. I am 91 years old and the fact that the things have not changed that much holds true.
When I was in the Navy Air Force I got transferred to Okinawa, and because they did not transfer my pay records with me (typical Naval) they didn't worry about that they did not worry about my having money. The only way I could make any money was to take one of the secretive flights to see what the Chinese were building in the China Sea. We flew regular flights to this area with all windows out and in a secure position as a spy plane. Today we are still flying drones over the same area. Same purpose, to keep track of what China is building in that area.. I was just a kid but had learned to track time zones, height the plane was flying, speed, direction, etcetra. The war just winding down and I was transferring out of my home base Guam.
The founding fathers wanted the voting to be covered by one person with integrity to represent both parties. This is called a Democratic Republic. The democrats and republicans still had control of the whom the candidates our going to be and the parties were ran by the rich. The rich are only 15 of the total voting population but still control who the candidates we are going to be able to vote for they picked the candidates in the Primary election. Most people do not vote in the Primary election and wait for the Presidential Election. The wealthy control the parties individually and how they vote. This is called a Oligarchy, where the wealthy control the vote. They do this with the Democratic and Republican Parties.
Those people who were not in a party usually did not get to vote. People that did not pick a party (although they pay for the Primary Elections did not get to vote. If they were a Non Political Afflicated Party members, usually did not get to vote. The candidates were already picked by the parties, and that was who you going to get to vote for.
If you don't enough money and the parties had a weak party member running for office, they might even transferred to another State to run for office. This is not right, but has become a common practice over the years. If every one became a Non Political Afflicated party members as our founding fathers wanted, we would be a Demoratic Republic, one person of integrity representing both parties, the wealthy would lose their ability run are country. The Non Political Afflitated Party will be larger and an run the party more fairly by voting of the people, for the people, and by the people.
